EDUCATION

Pastor Bobbie attended the King's Academy from elementary to high school and graduated in 1986. He went on to get a BS degree in Mathematics with a minor in Biblical Studies from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. In 2000, Bobbie continued his studies towards a Masters in Biblical Studies at South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary. He later went on to obtain a Masters of Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.


LOCAL EDUCATOR

Pastor Bobbie has served as an educator in the Palm Beach County School District for over 30 years working in mostly Title 1 schools such as Congress Middle, Bear Lakes Middle and John F. Kennedy Middle. He spent two years as a Math Specialist in the District supporting schools in the Belle Glade / Pahokee Region as well as North Region schools in Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach. He served two years as the Assistant Principal at Dr. Mary Mc Leod Bethune Elementary in Riviera Beach. In 2012, Bobbie was selected as the Principal of Westward Elementary IB Magnet School where he currently serves. In 2022, Bobbie became an Adjunct Professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he strives to help shape the minds and hearts of future educators.


COMMUNITY MEMBER

In 2004, Pastor Bobbie was appointed by the Riviera Beach City Council to serve on the Riviera Beach Firefighters Pension Board and in 2008, was elected as Chairman of the Board overseeing approximately $100 million in assets for firefighter’s retirements. Bobbie is also an active member of the West Palm Beach Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. He is a former Polemarch (President) of the organization and has worked with various committees such as Kappa League (mentorship program), Scholarship Committee, Bylaws Committee and participated in outreaches such as “Paint Your Heart Out” and community toy drives.The Brooks family has continually had an active role in Riviera Beach as witnessed by Bobbie's father, Bobbie E. Brooks Sr., who was the first black Mayor of the city and his mother, Billie Brooks-Saulter, who has served on the Riviera Beach City Council and is involved in various community activities.


MINISTRY LEADER

Pastor Bobbie began emerging as a ministry leader during his years at Bryan College, a Christian Liberal Arts college in Dayton, Tennessee. He was involved in student government, participated in teaching Bible classes for elementary schools, led Bible studies for tenants of a local apartment complex, and served in Bryan's high school outreach program. During his senior year, Pastor Bobbie was asked to serve as President of Bryan's student outreach ministries. In the summer months, he worked at Christian Bible camps as well as served as the junior high youth leader intern for a church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Upon returning home from college, he joined Palm View Bible Fellowship and engaged as the Youth Leader and Worship Leader. In 1997, Pastor Bobbie joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where he was eventually licensed as a Minister of the Gospel after completing the Minister's Training Course led by Bishop W. Oshae Granger. He participated as an instructor in the church’s School of Ministry, Director of the Men’s Ministry and the Evangelism Ministry. After 8 years of serving at Mt. Calvary, Bobbie transitioned to Calvary Chapel of the Palm Beaches, and was selected to be a Deacon and then later was ordained as an Elder. He served in this capacity for 12 years overseeing the Children’s Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, Discipleship Ministry, Church Database Systems, Men’s Ministry, and directed the Administrative Leadership Team. And, in January 2023, Elder Bobbie was ordained as a Pastor by Pastor Daryl Nelson (“Pastor D”) with the commission for the church planting in Riviera Beach.


Pamela Brooks

Pam is a native Jamaican and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She later relocated to Florida in 1994. Pam has humbly served as a Servant Leader in various capacities of church ministry such as the Adult Gospel Choir, New Members’ Ministry, Singles Ministry, Marriage Enrichment Ministry, Office Administration, Volunteer Coordination, Fund Development, and Intercessory Prayer Team. She also served in the following areas: the Ministerial Alliance, Evangelism Team, Women’s’ Ministry, Children’s’ Ministry and wherever needed. In January 27, 2002 Pam was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel by Bishop Walter Oshea Granger at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She has also been called upon to speak at various women’s conferences and facilitate events.

Pam’s vast experience includes over 22 years in the social work/human services field which includes child welfare, mental health, substance abuse, victim advocate, sexual abuse, domestic violence and other such areas. She also has a strong business background which includes business administration and is a licensed REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty – Palm Beaches.

Pam’s life vision is to walk out God’s calling in every aspect of her life so that He can be visible and His Kingdom more glorified on earth. A couple of Pam’s life scriptures are:Romans 12:2 - "Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and prefect will of God."James 5:16 - "Confess your faults, one to another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."


Family

Bobbie and Pamela Brooks have been married for over 20 years and are extremely proud of their two beautiful daughters. Keilana Brooks is currently attending University of Central Florida as a Computer Engineering major and their youngest daughter, Brielle, attends Dreyfoos School of the Arts with her focus being Musical Theater.
